SSC CGL 2016: Exam will be conducted Exams to be check Online Or Offline Mode

This year, SSC has decided to conduct Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) online because SSC want to make the Exam more transparent and  to check malpractices.

The pattern of Examination has been changed by the Selection Staff Commission and one descriptive paper also included in the pattern for first time.

Thousands of candidates are selected through the CGLE every year for various mid-level central government jobs, including as Assistant in Intelligence Bureau and Inspector in Income Tax.

 Ashim Khurana who is SSC Chairman currently said that the commission has decided to conduct the CGLE through online mode rather than Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) based. It is a historic decision that Onlice mode of paper will bring in more transparency in the examination process.

SSC uploads the video of Chairman Ashim Khurana. In this video, He told about the new pattern which helps the aspirants to understand the new pattern.In CGLE 2016, About 38 lakh aspirants applied for the examination. The examination under the new pattern will be conducted in the next two months.

Khurana said that A notice mentioning the changes in pattern of examination has been released on the commission’s website. The new online mode of paper will effectively check on any incident of leakage of exam paper or tampering with the examination process.

The Candidates all over India are very happy with the new decision of the commission. The SSC is getting positive feedback from the candidates all over India.

The senior official of Personal Ministry said that the decision to conduct the CGLE online was endorsed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi also.

The SSC officials said that online test via computer will ensure greater confidentiality and faster processing of results.

In the new pattern, the examination of CGL will now be conducted in 3 tiers instead of 2 tiers.

In tier I, there will be 100 questions in which the candidates will get 75 minutes to solve the question paper.

The tier 2 will same as earlier and it includes two papers of 200 marks each.

The last one is tier 3 which will be descriptive in nature in english and hindi both language. Tier 3 will be 100 marks. This descriptive paper will help the SSC to check the candidates skills in comprehension and analytical skills.

There will be a Computer Proficiency Test(CPT). This is qualify in nature. The candidates have to qualify the CPT.

The final merit list is made on the based of tier 1, 2, and 3 by totaling the marks of all 3 tiers.
