Stan Lee Passes Away at 95: Tributes to Marvel legend: Stan Lee, the fabulous comic writer, editor and publisher of Marvel Comics whose tremendous and marvelous comic creations also made him a real-life superhero around the world for all the comic lovers, has died in the age of 95. Stan Lee began his career in 1939. He created or co-created the famous superheroes of all time such as Spider-Man, Black Panther, Iron Man, the X-Men, the Mighty Thor, the Fantastic Four, the Incredible Hulk, Daredevil and Ant-Man and so many others countless characters.

Stan Lee died on 12th November 2018 at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California after being rushed in the medical emergency early in the morning. A wave of tributes has emerged with the death of Stan Lee. Marvel stars and friends  including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Tom Holland, Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Lawrence, Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and many others gave their tribute to the great artist ‘Stan Lee’.

Downey, who plays Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), paid honour to Stan Lee on Instagram by posting a picture quoting “1992-2018 Excelsior”

Mark Ruffalo, who plays the role of The Incredible Hulk in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), tweeted a condolence message with a picture of Stan Lee. He quoted by saying “Sad, sad day. Rest in Power, Uncle Stan. You have made the world a better place through the power of modern mythology and your love of this messy business of being human…”

Hugh Jackman, who plays the role of Wolverine in the MCU, also tweeted his sympathy for Lee. He quoted “We’ve lost a creative genius. Stan Lee was a pioneering force in the superhero universe. I’m proud to have been a small part of his legacy and ….to have helped bring one of his characters to life. #StanLee #Wolverine”

Chris Evans who plays the role of Captain America in the MCU, also tweeted in twitter for the big loss. He stated “There will never be another Stan Lee. For decades he provided both young and old with adventure, escape, comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship and joy. He exuded love and kindness and will leave an indelible mark on so, so, so many lives. Excelsior!!”

Ryan Reynolds, who plays the role of Deadpool in the MCU, also tweeted on twitter “Damn… RIP Stan. Thanks for everything”

 

Jeremy Renner who plays the role of Hawkeye in the MCU, posted a picture of Stan Lee with him on Instagram with a message “RIP Stan Lee ! You’re a legend my friend #rip #stanlee”

 

Chris Pratt who plays the role of Peter Quill/Starlord in MCU showed his respect to Lee by posting Lee’s picture with him with a message “Thanks for everything Stan Lee! What a life, so well lived. I consider myself extraordinarily lucky to have gotten to meet you and to have played in the world you created.”

Samuel L Jackson, who plays the role of Nick Fury in the MCU, tweeted in Lee’s remembrance “Thank you @TheRealStanLee for the escape from this world & great joy inhabiting the ones you created!! You made so many believe in the good, the heroic, the villainous, the exciting, most of all, you were giving & gracious to us all. RIP”


Paul Bettany, who plays the role of Vision, also tweeted about Lee and showed his respected for him and for the way Lee lived his life. He quoted “Now that was a life well lived and lived to its fullest. Excelsior! 1922-2018 Thank you Stan Lee, from all your fans.”

Karen Gillan, who plays the role of Nebula in the MCU, posted a picture of her with Lee and quoted “RIP Stan. Thank you for your brilliance.”

Zoe Saldana, who plays the role of Gamora in the MCU, tweeted for the loss with several images in Lee’s remembrance. “Today we lost one of the greats. @TheRealStanLee, you were a inspiration and superhero to us all. Thank you for contributing so much- and giving us all something to aspire to!
#ripstanlee”

Evangeline Lily, who plays The Wasp in the MCU, also recalled Lee and posted a picture with him with a message “Stan…more than a master of stories, you always seemed like a master of living. I will look to you for inspiration for the rest of my life. You live on. xoxo Your Wasp”

Russo Brothers who are the directors of Avengers: Infinity War also tweeted, “Thank you for filling our childhoods with such joy. You will be dearly, dearly missed…”

They also announced “Stan Lee’s imagination helped spawn a universe of characters that inspired both kids and adults around the world for generations. He has become the driver of an incredible lasting legacy for our modern pop culture mythology.”
