Sun Singer is a popular singing show which is giving a platform for talented and young singers to showcase their singing. The judges of Sun Singer are Gangai Amaran, Anuradha Sriram, and Krish and they are doing their best to choose the perfect singer.
Gangai Amaran is a music director, lyricist, scriptwriter, film director, and actor. “Karakattakaran” is one of the blockbuster movies of yesterday under his direction. He is the brother of the legendary music director and Southern singer Illayaraja.
Anuradha Sriram is a trained Carnatic, Hindustani, jazz and opera singer, so when she will be there to choose the singers it is surely she will choose the perfect one.
Anuradha begin her career with the song ‘Ächam acham illai’ from the movie Indra and went on to become one of South India’s top lead playback singers. She has also performed more than 1000 stage concerts.
Krish is a smart and ever young looking playback singer and he makes his singing debuted with “Manjal Veyil” from the movie Vettaiyadu Villaiyadu film.
“June Ponal” from Unnale Unnale, Ädiye Kolluthe”from Varanam Aayiram, “Öru Mugamo” from Bheema are some of his super dupers hit songs. He started his acting career with “Puriyatha Anandam Puthithaga Aarambham”.
Sun Singer is also very popular TV singing show as it gives us popular Tamil singers like, Chinmayi, Karthik, Mahathi, Ranjith, and Vinaya Karthik Rajan. The show airs weekly on Sundays at 11:00am on Sun TV also at 6:30 PM on the Evening.
