Red FM Malayalam Music Awards 2016 organised by the popular Tamil language channel Surya TV which is actually a star-studded display as this award show has been attended by many popular celebs of the Southern film industry.
Superhits Red FM organised the first edition of its gala awards function ‘Red FM Malayalam Music Awards’ at the ADLUX International Convention and Exhibition Center, Cochin on 3 September 2016 which is yet to telecast in the popular TV channel Surya TV.
This highly anticipated and most awaited show was inaugurated by Padmashri and megastar Malayalam legendary actor Mammootty. Top stars from the Malayalam entertainment industry like Dulquer Salmaan, Dileep , Kunchacko Boban , etc took an active part in this spectacular show . it will be also interesting to see when the young actor Dulquer Salmaan will be seen sharing the stage with his superstar dad Mammotty which is indeed giving goose bumps to the fans.
One of the most prominent movie actor as well as, the member of the parliament Suresh Gopi presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to the highly revered music legend M. K. Arjunan fondly referred as ‘Arjunan Master’ by his fans.
‘Red FM Malayalam Music Awards’ event initiated to honour artistic excellence in the Mollywood Music industry attracted top people from the Malayalam music fraternity with big names like Gopi Sundar , Vani Jayaram , Ramesh Narayan , Rajesh Murugesan , Vijay Yesudoss amongst others attending the show to graces it. Awards were given in ten different music categories.
This high-octane entertainment evening witnessed some power packed dance performances by the celebrities including Isha Talwar, Sshivada, Natasha and Sarayu . Music magician Stephen Devassy combined with Karunamoorthy, Giridhar Udupa, Thiruvizha Jayasankar, Franscis Xavier, Arun Kumar , etc to produce some mesmerizing music to keep the audience fully entertained.
Top music composer Gopi Sundar created a special eight song medley of his super hits along with reputed singers like Maqbool , Divya Menon and Sachin Warrior dedicating it to Red FM’s powerful on-air music property ‘Ettu Koottam Paaattu’ and later came back again to sing ‘Sundari Penne’ with upcoming Superstar Dulquer Salmaan who also graced the stage on fire.
