The “Adida Melam” is an upcoming Indian Tamil Romantic comedy film which is being directed by Anbu Stalin featuring newcomer star cast in the lead role. It is Nischala Krishnan and Abhinaya is playing lead roles in the movie. The film has been launched in the year of the 2012, and eventually went through some production hindrances and troubles.
Gradually name of the film had been changed in to “Mela Thaalam to Adida Melam” and it is hit theatre in the year 2016 with some good response from the public the film had.
The leading man Abhinaya said about the movie to the media “Adida Melam” and his appearances as a leading man that, ‘I can proudly say we’ve reserved the best for end of the film. While most of the film is enjoyable, the last 15-20 minutes is outright funny. Even some of the predictable moments are presented in the most unconventional way”.
The director by Anbu Stalin said about the movie that, ‘It’s an entertainer, but not a lame comedy film. It’s about how a dumb family handles the most serious situations. I’m part of a family that plans weddings, and the story revolves around events that involve the members of this family”. Alongside Abhinaya and Nischala Krishnan, it is Urvashi and Mayilsamy are playing other crucial roles in the movie and it is both of them had been seen in the funny avatar.
Abhay Krishna who is playing another important role in the movie “Adida Melam” said about the movie that it is, ‘I wanted to know if people would accept me as an actor. So when I did the short film, I realised it was well received and it didn’t matter who starred in it, which boosted my confidence and I finally decided to act”.
Abhay also happened to praise his co-star as well as he praised the senior actress Urvashi, who plays his mother in the film.
And about Urvashi, Abhay said that, “She’s a big pillar of support to the project. The relationship I share with her in the film is really special, it’s funny and emotional”. Currently Abhay is busy with more 2 Tamil films which he is having in his kitty anyway!!!
It is Silambarasan Rajendra prepares one of the tracks of the movie under the music direction of the Abhishek Lawrence.
