Mapla Singam is romantic comedy based on village life, culture and society. The film features Vimal and Anjali in the leading roles, with Soori in a supporting role. Mapla Singam’ has a prominent cast which includes Soori, Radharavi, Kaali Venkat, Madhumitha, Ramdoss, Singampuli, Mayilsamy and Manobala.
Vimal would be hoping that the film gets a good response from the audiences as his last film ‘Anjala’ did an average business at the box office. The clash between both the films will be great to watch for the audience.
It’s a full-blown comedy with a huge star cast. Munishkanth will be seen as Anjali’s mama paiyyan in the film. He will be seen in his natural avatar. Kali Venkat and Soori play Vemal’s relatives and will add to the comedy quotient.
Talking about her character she says, “Playing an advocate, I have to speak lengthy dialogues in MS. That was a new experience for me. The movie, which is set in a village, is about two warring families with political backgrounds, narrated in a witty manner.” She added.
