The 2016 auto expo witnessed the Tata sedan Kite 5, which was highly rated by the experts. Although, the Kite 5 will be launched only next year as the launch date of this car has been postponed because the Tata want to focus on launching the Hexa and reducing the Tiago release.
Meanwhile, it is believed that the Kite 5 will be titled as the Tata Sway and its price will be around 4 lakh, which will make it the most comfortable sedan in the Indian automobile market. Although, there is no official announcement regarding the price, launch date and the features of the Kite 5.
The production of the Kite 5 will take place at the Sanand facility in Gujarat. The Tata will more probably look for an aggressive marketing strategy for the Kite 5. The Sedan will be available with multi-drive modes in both petrol and diesel engine.
According to the sources, the company has already done the driving testing of Kite 5 on different regions of the world before making it available in Deli for the auto expo 2016.
The Kite 5 will be in the neck to neck competition amongst the Maruti Swift Dzire, Honda Amaze, Volkswagen Ameo and Ford Figo Aspire in India. It will be equipped with the .2-litre three-cylinder petrol and 1.05-litre three-cylinder diesel motors.
It is in 3995 mm in length, 2535 mm in height and 1647 mm in width and will have the wheelbase of 2450 mm. The petrol engine will generate the power of 3.8 bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm.
Meanwhile, we all have to wait for the official announcement of the Tata officials regarding the actual price tag, specifications, launch date and most importantly mileage.
