The Bollywood movie Akshay Kumar starrer “Airlift” is doing extremely well at the box office. Tussar Kapoor and Aftab Shivdasni starrer “Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3” failed to perform as good as “Airlift” but it has been done decent business at the box office.
“Airlift” and “Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3” both are highly promoted and highly buzzed Bollywood movies of 2016. The Akshay starrer political thriller “Airlift” got better advance booking and performed well then the sex comedy Balaji Telefilms “Kya Kool Hain Hum 3”. Both movies hit theatre together at 22 January last weekend.
As per predictions both movies opened well, indeed “Airlift” grabs extremely well reviews from the critics as well audiences. On its first day, Friday. “Airlift” has been collected Rs 12.35 crore and the sex comedy “Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3” collected and Rs 8.15 crore on its first day. Akshay Kumar starrer movie emerged as the winner.
“Airlift” received positive response from viewers; as well Akshay Kumar’s stardom was enough to fetches audiences in the theatre. The good and positive mouth publicity helped the movie “Airlift” to topped the domestic business chart in the weekend, while the adult-sex comedy “KKHH3” only did well at the mass centres’.
Contradictory “Airlift” not only managed to do well at the single screens, but also in the multiplexes due to its strong story-line. Somehow “Airlift” and “Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3” witnessed a little bit declines in its movie collections on Monday. On the eve of Republic Day, “Airlift” recorded its highest collection in a day, which makes the movie as blockbuster movies of all time.
“KKHH3” is only success to prove itself as a moderator grosser of the year. The 6th day total collections made by the movie “Airlift” is Rs. 78.50 crore while, Rs. 28.80 crore made by the Tussar Kapoor starrer.
