The Bollywood film “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” has opened to extraordinary response at the box office, making it Salman Khan’s second highest opener, until now. But the Bollywood film is still failed to beat SS Rajamouli’s Tollywood film “Baahubali – the Beginning” (Bahubali) opening day box office collection record.”Bajrangi Bhaijaan” starring Salman, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Harshaali Malhotra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui minted approximately Rs 27.5 crore on the first day at the box office.

The film was expected to beat the opening day box office collection record of “Baahubali” and Shah Rukh Khan’s “Happy New Year”, but unfortunately, it failed to do so.However, it has become Salman’s highest opener beating his last year’s Eid release “Kick” record. The film also broke the records of Aamir Khan’s “PK” first day box office collection record in India.
