According to the CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani said: In the Udta Panjab movie are showing the Panjabi culture and , In the Movie 70% of the people are taking drugs during the entire movie and it gives a negative light for the Panjab.
Also Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) “chief Pahlaj Nihalani” said that the movie does not clear the way of explanation and its cross the guidelines of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
It’s a given bad impression for everyone who’s live in Panjab ,Mostly the movie scenes are created in Ludhiana and Jalandhar, other cities of the Panjab.
Udta Panjab Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit said to the CBFC chief Mr. Nihalani’s recrimination that the Udta Panjab is funded by the Aam Aadmi Party (“AAP”) and also he said Mr. Nihalani are insulting of an entire industry.
