Union Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma Advises Foreign Tourists To Shun Skirts

Union Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma Advises Foreign Tourists To Shun Skirts :- Instead of telling the men not to misbehave with tourists and women. Union Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma has suggested the ladies not to wear shorts. This is totally ridiculous as this can not stop the mishappenings. India is a cultural country but the length of the dress doesn’t define how cultural it is till the men of the nation start respecting every woman as they respect their own sister and mothers. The minister has done something not less than a social crime as he advising female tourists not to wear short skirts while roaming around Agra city in the evenings.

The minister has done something not less than a social crime as he advised female visitors not to wear short dresses while wandering around Agra city in the late evenings.

However, when a reporter asks Sharma’s justification, the minister withdrew or altered his opinion by stating that the recommendation was made with respect of visiting holy places.

He even added the foreigner tourists will provide a welcome kit on the airport in which a pamphlet will describe do’s and don’ts.

“When visitors land at the airport, they will be provided with a welcome kit. The kit contains a card, a pamphlet which describes do’s and dont’s.

The indications will ask the female guests not to roam or travel late nights and ask them not to wear short dresses,” he added on Saturday.

“In that welcome kit, there is a pamphlet saying that India is a cultural country having some dress code that changes with respect to holy places like temples and asks the female visitors to mind their apparels,” he answered.

For the safety purpose, He also urged the guests to take a picture or note down every vehicle’s number plate while travelling to anywhere.
