Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board (UPSESSB) is going to release the notification of recruitment selection on 5th December 2018, regarding 69,000 assistant teacher posts. This year, the basic education council has made some changes in the conduct of examination. Last time, the exam was based on written test, this year the exam will consist of objective type-multiple choice questions based on OMR Sheet.

UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2018: Eligibility criteria
Age Criteria
- The minimum age of candidate must be 21 years old.
- The maximum age of the candidate must not exceed 40 years of age. There is also certain relaxation for the reserved category.
Qualification
- Candidates who have graduation degree in any Stream from an established university along with candidates who have passed 2 year DELED/BTC examination
- Candidates who have cleared primary level CTET/UPTET examination are also eligible for this post.
- Candidates, who carry B.Ed degree from an established university, are also eligible for the posts. Note: only those candidates who have cleared the Primary TET (1 to 5) will be able to give the exam
UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2018: Selection process
There will be a written exam for the selection of the candidates from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm across the state. The candidates who clear this exam will be eligible for the given posts, after which they have to go for the interview round. The written exam will be based on OMR sheet and consists of objective type-multiple choice questions.

For General/OBC category candidates, the fee structure for the examination is Rs 600
For SC/ST category candidates, the fee structure for the examination is Rs 400
