The mother and her daughter were brutally gang-raped at the highway in Bulandshahar by bandits just 100 meters away from a police post.
Now they have lost their faith in the administration. On last Friday, the 35-year-old was raped along with her 14-year-old daughter. The mother told the media that she wants to punish the culprits with her own hands.
The mother said that All I want is justice. I want to punish the rapists with my own hands. I do not trust politicians. They are promising many things, but they don’t have any accountability. I want them to safeguard the future of my child.
She added that both the government and the police are at fault. The culprits should be hanged and the government should allow me to hang the culprits with my own hands.
Her daughter has shied away from speaking to the media, but had aspired to become an IAS officer. After the rape incident, the family is not even sure if they will be able to live a normal life in the society again.
The bandits had brutally raped the woman and her daughter at gunpoint after dragging them out of a car in Bulandshahr on NH-91 while they were travelling with their family from Noida to Shahjahanpur. The bandits tied her husbands with rope to a tree.
On Sunday, UP Police had arrested – Rais(28), Bablu(22) and Naresh(25). The police also detained a dozen others after launching a massive hunt for the bandits suspected to be behind the rape crime.
