A 13-year-old girl is in critical and bad condition post she was allegedly raped and thrashed by a 16-year-old juvenile. This deadly incident took place in the state Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur Dehat district; the state police said the same on the last Tuesday.
The alleged person, a neighbor, accused of the committed this crime in the presence of his sister in Shivli town on Sunday, told by the Ratan Kant Pandey, Kanpur Dehat deputy inspector general (DIG).
The juvenile, along with his father and mother, who are accused to beat up the girl, leaving her seriously injured and wounded. They threatened her with the dreadful and horrible consequences if she dared to speak up or reveal this incident, before letting her go home, Mr. Pandey added further.
The girl was admitted to a district hospital, but eventually, she shifted to Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital in Kanpur for proper treatment. Her condition is said to be critical, the DIG added.
The victim, though, narrated the incident to her family, then the family reported it to Shivli police station on the last Tuesday, the officer said.
An FIR was registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the juvenile has been detained and his father and mother arrested today, he said.
This has been also decided to slap pertinent and applicable sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, he added further.
