This November could be one of the greatest Novembers for most of the bike lovers. As it is the end of the year and many huge motorcycle companies are set to launch their motorcycles in India. Many people are eagerly waiting for the launches and many have already made bookings for the motorcycles. Three different motorcycle brands are launching their bikes in India which could make people nostalgic with their old-fashioned and classic design.
Upcoming Bikes Launch In November 2018-19
The bikes that are about to be launched in November 2018 are – Royal Enfield’s 650 Twins, Jawa motorcycle and KTM Duke 125.
Launch Dates:
The 650 Twins: 13-15 November 2018
Jawa Motorcycle: 15th November 2018
KTM Duke 125: probably at the end of November (Unannounced)
Royal Enfield Twins:
‘The Interceptor 650’ and ‘The Continental 650’
As described in our earlier article, these bikes are going to be launched in the event ‘Royal Enfield Rider Mania’ in Goa. These motorcycles are named as ‘Royal Enfield 650 Twin’. It is going to be launched within 13th to 15th November. ‘The Inceptor 650’ and ‘The Continental 650’ is weighing 202 kg and 198 Kg respectively. The dimensions of the Interceptor 650 are 2122*789*1165 whereas dimensions of the Continental 650 are 2122*744*1024.
They both have174mm ground clearance with fuel capacity of 12.5 litres
Wheel and Tyre Size are: Front and Rear Wheel: 18inch
Front Tyre: 100/90-18, Rear Tyre: 130/70-18
These bikes are based on recently developed 648cc engine, Along with Parallel Twin, Four Stroke, Single Overhead camshaft engine, with Engine Power of 47.65PS@7100rpm. It has two Cylinders and a highest torque output of 52Nm@4000rpm.
In US, “The Interceptor 650” has been priced from $5,799. In India its expected price is 2.70 Lakh and “The Continental 650” has been priced from $5,999 in US. So, the expected price in India will be starting from Rs.3 lakh.
Jawa Motorcycle:
Mahindra via Classic Legends who has signed a licensing agreement is all set to unveil the Jawa 350 Motorcycle in India on 15th November 2018, just after the launch of Royal Enfield Twins in India. This makes new Jawa 350 Motorcycle rival of Royal Enfield Twins. There will be 3 motorcycle range which is powered by brand new 259-400cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine which offers 26 bhp maximum power and 28Nm @ 4,750 RPM peak Torque.
Wheel and Tyre Size are:
Front Tyre: 100/90- 19inch and Rear Tyre: 130/70-18inch
Front Wheel: 1.85*19- inch, Rear Wheel: 3.00*18- inch
The expected price of Jawa 350 Motorcycle in India is Rs 1.5 lakh.
KTM Duke 125:
KTM Duke 125 with maximum power of 124.7cc with liquid cooled, single cylinder, 4 valve, DOHC engine. It generates the power of 14.95 PS and peak torque of 12Nm. The engine of KTM Duke 125 is pair off to 6 speed transmission. The features of KTM Duke 125 are very impressive that even it belongs to 125cc segment bikes but it still competes with 160cc bikes in India.
The launch date of KTM Duke 125 is not officially announced but according to some sources it is clear that it is going to be launched at the end of November, in India. KTM Duke 125 expected price in India is 1.25 lakh.
