US Survey: 70% Teenagers Tried to reduce the time they spent on SmartPhones

You all may know that the sale of Smartphones did increase in recent time and they did reach the customers in big numbers. People are being addicted to the Smartphone and not to forget they are getting dependent on them. Still, good news or you can say the different news is coming out from a Survey.  Reports are suggesting that nearly 70 percent of teenagers have attempted to reduce the time they spend on their smartphone.

Well, the survey was conducted by the Screen Education which is a US-based non-profitable organization. The result showed that 65 percent of teenagers wish that they were better able to self-limit the time they spend on their smartphone. Yes! Even some of them claimed that they are trying to avoid the Smartphones in various issues. On the other hand, 26 percent wish someone would limit the time they spend on their smartphone for them as they are unable to do so themselves.

Also, the reports suggested that 37 percent have tried to persuade a friend to reduce the time they spend on their smartphone. Around 35 Percent of teenagers agreed that they are unable to do things they ought to because of spending increasing time on their phones. You all should know that 41 percent blamed phones for getting low grades at school. Now, you all can understand that how bad this addiction is getting day by day.

Now, people, parents, and other authority should understand that the “Teen SmartPhone Addiction” is a very bad thing. These kids know their phones are compromising so many aspects of their lives, and they want help,” said Michael Mercier, President of Screen Education.”We can find ways to impose reasonable limits on their screen time and cultivate within them the ability to self-limit their screen time.
