The fabulous music composer of India, “Vanraj Bhatia” took his last breath on 6th May 2021, that is, on Friday in his South Mumbai home. As per the reports, he was suffering from health issues. It has also been said that the late music composer was facing some financial crisis too and because of this, he also put his valuable items for sale. Also, he does not have a family member as he is not married and was living in his residence in South Mumbai alone. The national award-winning music composer’s death has shocked the whole music industry.
The legendary music composer has composed music in various films. Many big celebrities including the famous director Hansal Mehta also paid his last tribute to the great melodist. He wrote, “RIP master”. While the Union Cabinet Minister, Smriti Irani also expressed her condolences towards the death of the late symphonist.
She took over her Twitter account and wrote, “The demise of late music composer and Padma Shri Awardee, late Vanraj Bhatia was a major shock for her. Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron and Wagle ki Duniya are some of his spectacular work, that will be remembered forever. My solace to his dear ones and admirers. Om Shanti”.
Another famous Indian actor and singer, Farhan Akhtar, also took to his Twitter handle and tweeted, “Rest in Peace, Vanraj Bhatia. His contribution to the music industry is immense and some of the splendid melodic works have been carried out under his guidance, however the one that I still can not get over is the Theme song of ‘Tamas’ that begins with a squeal laced with agony. It is one such masterpiece that can still make me feel goosebumps and at the same time has the power to left a deep impression in one’s heart.”
Previously, the IPRS (Indian Performing Right Society) came forward and helped the demised music composer after they got to know about the poor health and financial condition of the late music composers. One of the finest screen and songwriter and also the head of IPRS, Javed Akhtar has also expressed and also paid honour to the late music composer.
The songwriter also further stated that the whole music industry stood together in tough times and when we got to know the condition of our dear composer friend, Vanraj Bhati, we instantly released from our reserves for his help and support.” The late music composer, Vanraj Bhatia has given music in various films including Ankur, TV show Tamas and 36 Chowringhee Lane. We pay our homage to the deceased music composer. May his soul rest in peace.
