The German based company, Volkswagen has made its official announcement that they will launch their new model Polo GTI will be launched in India in the middle of the November. The Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, Michael Mayer announced that the car has been dispatched for India.
The Volkswagen Polo GTI will be revealed to the India in the upcoming Auto expo and it is believed that this car will be available under the limited edition scheme in India. Meanwhile, it is believed that this new automobile of Volkswagen is performance oriented and it is the first ever vehicle in India that will be the three door car.
The automobile expert believed that this new model of Polo will be the most powerful vehicle it ist segment. This car will be launched in India as CKD (completely knocked down) unit. It has the 1.8-litre Petrol engine and can be accelerated to a top speed of 236 kmph.
The former car is expected to give the comfortable and thrill ride to their drivers and passengers as it is equipped with the sportier aesthetics and suspension. The Volkswagen Polo GTI has new and improved features as compared to its previous models like honeycomb grille, GTI badges, sportier front, rear bumpers, static cornering function for fog lights and headlight washers, 17-inch alloy wheels, , LED daytime running lights with automatic range adjustment and red radiator grille strips.
It front and rear clearance have been lowered by 10mm and 15mm. The new Polo will give the mileage of 8.85kmpl and it will be priced between the Rs 20 lakhs and Rs 25 lakhs.
