Today, Volvo Cars has finally launched its most anticipated XC40 T4 R-Design BS6 in India for an initial price tag of Rs 39.9 lakh (ex-showroom).

For those who are not much aware about Volvo XC40 T4 R-Design, then it is the Swedish luxury car manufacturer’s first petrol offering in the entry-level SUV segment.
Volvo XC40 T4 R-Design BS6 is also based on the Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) and is equipped with a 2-litre, 4-cylinder, T4 petrol engine that produces 190 hp as well as 300 Nm of maximum Torque. The motor on the other hand is offered with an 8-speed Geartronic gearbox, with front-wheel drive.
In addition to that, the Volvo XC40 T4 R-Design comes with dual-tone exteriors. The R-design grille is also flanked by LED headlights. The glossy black front as well as the rear skid plates, combined roof rails and matte black diamond-cut alloy wheels also give the SUV a sporty feel.
