Sooraj is directing the movie in which the hit Jodi of Kollywood Jayam Ravi and Trisha’s Jodi is making comeback on the silver screen after 9 years. Back then, the first time and last time the hottest Jodi was pair up in hit movie “Something Something”. So, the expectation from “Appatakkar” is huge.
Apart from the love birds Jayam Ravi and Trisha Krishnan playing lead role in the movie with Anjali and Parotta Soori playing second lead in the film.The teaser starts off on a funny note with our hero Jayam Ravi confused between two girls Trisha and Anjali. While Anjali comes off as a homely girl from village, Trisha rocks in urban tomboy avatar. Jayam Ravi sporting a handlebar moustache seems to be a rustic rowdy and Parotta Soori seems to be his sidekick. But the leading woman Trisha was not first choice for the film, it was Kajal Aggarwal who opted out from the film with high remuneration. Then Catherine Teresa was second choice but she can’t even choose for the film. Finally, Trisha chosen and she did her role portraying perfectly.
New starlet Poorna does a cameo role in this flick, while the actor Vivek will be doing a role in the film for which he shaved his head. D. Imman has rendered his voice for a song. The music of the album seems very mind-blowing will be. The teaser, poster and music all are well receiving by the audiences and getting terrific response.
