Kamla Devi, who is the mother of the 5-times Commonwealth Champion, Sushil Kumar and he is suspected of the murder of a 23-years-old wrestler Sagar Dhankar in Delhi’s stadium. Kamla Devi has filed a petition in the High Court of Delhi over the concerns of media reports which is alleged on her son before the decision of the court. The mother of Sushil Kumar, Kamla Devi, and a student of Delhi University Law, Shrikant Prasad both jointly appeal to the high court on the sensational reporting regarding her son.
Chief justice DN Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh denied accepting their petitions on Thursday and said that We did not find any reason on the behalf of an observant person. The person has liberty who is already known for an approach relevant authority. Sushil Kumar, who won the Olympic wrestling two times is the main suspect in the 23-years-old wrestling player Sagar Dhankar. According to the reports, Sagar Dhankar was brutally murdered on May 4, 2021, at Delhi’s Chhatrasal Stadium in a dispute of property. The evidence was also found by the police where Sushil Kumar and his wingman were seen assaulting and beating Sagar Dhankar, reports released on May 28.
Well, nine more accused have been arrested by the Delhi police. Today, the petition was clearly heard by the Delhi High Court. The petitioner was filed to stop media by declaring Sushil Kumar before the decision of the court. Along with this, the petition was also filed to unveil those faces who are leaking each and every detail of the accused and providing to the media and this is also breaking the privacy of the accused, right of free, and this is also affecting his career.
