The popular bilingual Virtual Youtuber Kiryu Coco is departing from Hololive Production. Hololive is one of the well-known talent agencies that has been owned and operated by Japanese tech Entertainment Company named Cover Corporation. Under Hololive, Kiryu Coco is one of their popular VTuber talents and was launched by them in the year 2019.
Kiryu Coco is a popular Virtual Youtuber (VTuber) who usually appears in the dragon form in most of the time. She also has around 1.2 million subscribers on her YouTube channel. The well-known VTuber also shared the news in a recently posted video on her channel.
Kiryu Coco leaving Hololive: Confirmed by VTuber Agency
The popular VTuber Kiryu Coco made the announcement of her departure recently on her official YouTube channel. She shared this sad new with her fans and followers that make more than one million of subscribers on her YouTube channel, at the present date. She was also very sad while talking about her graduation as she has to leave her followers behind and apologised to her fans as well in her 12 minute video on YouTube. She will be working with Hololive till July 1, 2021 and her graduation streaming video is also planned for the same date.
After the official announcement by the well-known virtual avatar, Coco, her agency Hololive has also confirmed her departure on their Twitter account. While confirming the news, Hololive also made the official announcement on Twitter regarding Coco’s graduation on 1st July 2021 from the agency.
Why VTuber Kiryu Coco leaving Hololive?
Kiryu Coco also revealed about her graduation on the same 12 minute YouTube video on her channel on 9th June 2021 where she said that her reason of leaving the agency consist of several things which she can’t talk right now.
She was saddened to leave her fans and followers behind and apologetically said that she can’t reveal why she is graduating as there are so many things that she can’t talk about, therefore, she has decided to not reveal anything. She also stated that hearing a reason will also be not that satisfying.
She also reminded her fans to unsubscribe their membership as YouTube is still going to take money from the channel, as per to Siliconera. At last, she wishes everyone to stay positive and at the end of the video said that as a dragon (her virtual character), she is going to continue to shine in future as well.
As per to the DoteSports report, the membership and members-only content of Kiryu Coco’s channel is going to be available for streaming even after her graduation on 1st July 2021. The content is reported to be available for additional three months after July 1, which means that the membership holders of her channel can stream the content till October 2021, as per to the report.
