World Wrestler Parveen Rana Will Replace Narsingh Yadav in Rio 2016 Olympics Squad :- On Tuesday, the world wrestling body announced that world Wrestler Parveen Rana Will Replace Narsingh Yadav in Rio 2016 Olympics Squad Wrestler Praveen Rana will replace Narsingh Yadav for India in the category of 74 kg freestyle in wrestling at the Rio Olympics 2016 Games.
Earlier, the positive result found against the wrestler Narsingh Yadav in doping test in banned substance. The Metadienone, an anabolic steroid is banned. On Sunday the announcement left him disqualified to represent India at the Rio Olympics 2016 Games.
On Tuesday, according to the reports, the man who may have spiked Narsingh Yadav’s food which leads to him testing positive in dope test, was identified. The younger brother of the international wrestler Narsingh Yadav allegedly infiltrated Narsingh’s room and contaminated the food supplement of Narshingh Yadav.
The NArsingh Yadav’s brother is himself a 65 kg wrestler. He has represented India in the junior ranks. He trains at the Chhatrasal Stadium in Delhi and frequents the SAI Sonepat Centre during the national camps.
When the wrestler Yadav was in Bulgaria with the Indian team, the suspected person was seen hanging around Narsingh’s room. He asked for the keys of the room of Narsingh Yadav at the KD Jadhav hostel at the centre during his absence.
According to Wrestling Federation of India, an FIR has been filed in the case. Narsingh also filed a written complaint at Samalkha police station, near Sonepat, Haryana.
In November, the wrestler Narsingh Yadavhad won bronze medal b winning qualification round at the world championships held in Las Vegas in November.
But the new turn of events does not seem to have fazed the Indian Olympic Association, which informed United World Wrestling of their desire to enter Parveen Rana as the replacement for Narsingh Yadav.
The wrestler Parveen Rana, 23 years old, is regarded as Sushil Kumar’s understudy at Delhi’s Chhattrasal Stadium.
