Waiting, is one of the most appreciated movie of the year but I don’t think that the movie going to be the good deal for the makers. Because movie is not collecting that much bucks for the makers like expected by the movie and that’s so bad. Movie only collecting average bucks and that’s weird.

Movie is directed by Anu Menon, and produced by Priti Gupta and Manish Mundra under the banner of Ishka Films and Drishyam Films. The movie stars Naseeruddin Shah and Kalki Koechlin in lead roles, with Rajat Kapoor, Suhasini Maniratnam and Arjun Mathur playing supporting roles. Movie has good buzz because of the good story plot and that’s awesome.
I think movie is good but people didn’t attracting towards the movie. And the reason is people have options to watch and they are attracting towards them. And that’s not good for the makers. Also I don’t think that the movie going to make good bucks in upcoming day because people have good and better options to watch. On the other hand people didn’t going to like the genre of the movie.
First weekend/4th day box office collection of the movie-
Movie opened with good occupancy and collected good bucks for the makers and that’s good I think movie can do so good business in upcoming days and that’s awesome. But on the other hand people didn’t attracting towards the movie because they didn’t like the story plot like I told you before.
Movie opened with 20% occupancy only. And people coming out to watch this movie only in multiplex and that’s why only few multiples running this movie.
Movie collected between 0.50 Crore from the very first day of release. And movie collected between 0.80 Crore from the second day of release and just because movie has good direction people came out to watch this movie. And that’s why movie collected between 1.20 crore from the first weekend and that’s good for the makers. As well as for the other cast.
