According to Yamaha thier scooter will be revolutionary because of its “rich and classy modern-retro” Sleek Slim design, its will be the bestest Scooter in 125cc Segment. Company is targeting Indian Youth which is more then 50% in today’s total population of country. Fascino will compete with already running scooter in market, Honda Activa 125, Piaggio Vespa, TVSWego and Mahindra Rodeo.

The stylish premium scooter gets a new styling which derives certain ques from the Vietnam-spec Nozza Grande but is a whole new model in its own right. The Yamaha Fascino comes in five colors and has a retro theme to it. It will be available in showrooms from this month onwards.The retro classic life style scooter is powered by a 113 cc Blue Core air-cooled engine which is paired with a CVT (Continuously Varying Transmission).
Yamaha claims a best in class mileage of 66 kpl. The single-cylinder unit is capable enough to produce 7.1 PS of power at 7500 RPM and a peek torque of 8.1 Nm at 5000 RPM, while mated to a V-Belt automatic transmission. The breaking mechanism in taken care of by drum brakes on both font and back, while the wheels are wrapped around with 90/100/10 sized tyres on both ends. It weighs in at a low 103kg and has a ground clearance of 128mm. In terms of dimensions, it measures 1,815 mm in length, 675 mm in width, 1,120 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,270 mm. The fuel tank can hold 5.2 litres.
