It’s been an end of long wait for the football fans that were desperately waiting to start ‘Barclay’s Premier League’ 2015-16. Though Spurs have started this match so well but it was Man Utd who took the advantage to cause the havoc as Walker fired a strike just wide of the target. The Spur had still the chance to overcome the barrier in the second half.
At the 60th minute, Bastian Schweinsteiger made debut in BPL as well as in Man Utd. The final 15 minutes were struggling for the Spurs as Man Utd were looking to likely hit the next goal but couldn’t make it despite a late surge from Spurs. Thus, Man Utd have bagged all three points in this match as the only goal of Kyle Walker made the difference.
In the presentation, Captain Wayne Rooney exclaimed “The most important thing today was the victory. We’ve played better at times, but it was all about the three points. We’re still working on things and this pre-season was shorter than previous ones.”
