Minor IG official son drives a car in Kerala. The juvenile court has ordered police to register a case and investigate into the accused incident.
The minor boy was driving the car of his father IGP Suresh Rajpurohit inside the Police Academy campus.
The court has directed the police to register a case under section 156(3) of the CrPC and Sect 23 of the Juvenile Justice Act and a probe conducted.
The order comes after a petition was filed by one P D Joseph before the Juvenile Justice Board Principal Magistrate.
The probe was ordered due to the long coverage of the incident by television channels earlier this month aired visuals of Police Academy Director and IG Suresh Rajpurohit’s son, a higher secondary student, driving an official car on the campus.
The Kerala’s state government had also ordered an investigation, headed by ADGP (Training) Rajesh Diwan, earlier this month after the incident came to highlight.
