Smriti Irani’s Transfer from The HRD Ministry

In the initial important reshuffle of his over-two-year-old politics, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday sprang a wonderment when he rehabilitates his human resource development representative Smriti Irani and cited in previous environment representative Prakash Javadekar in her position.

Irani, who was once popularly considered as one of Modi’s picks, had a questionable run as the HRD minister, with allegations of infringing with the liberty of universities and other institutions.

Twitter was abuzz with the sudden reshuffle of responsibilities of some superior ministers, with around 10,000 tweets being shared about Irani in only over an hour.

The key responsibilities of home, defence, finance and external affairs were consistent but finance minister Arun Jaitley was released of the additional portfolio of information and broadcasting minister.
