The accident happened on the A9 near Dalnaspidal in the Highlands on the evening of Thursday on 7th April 2022 where an air ambulance has landed at the spot of a horror crash that occurred on the spot. In this accident, the police stated that around three vehicles are reportedly indulged in the accident in which one of the vehicles is stated to be a motorbike. After the accident, the road is currently shut in both directions for four hours with tailbacks stretching for around 10 miles.

According to the statement of the traffic monitoring system which stated that A64 in both directions was blocked, stationary traffic due to an accident, three vehicles were involved in tailbacks stretching for around 10 miles. The police officials and the emergency services along with the ambulances services arrived and reached the spot and started their work for finding the cause of the accident along with rescuing the person who was involved in the accident.
After the accident, on the A9 near Dalnaspidal in the Highlands, an air ambulance was in attendance and with the accident, the drivers are advised to avoid the area and to find alternative routes where possible.
