The television actor and the fame of popular supernatural serial “Naagin 3″ actor Pearl V Puri (31) have been arrested by Waliv Police of Vasai (East) Mumbai on Friday. According to the reports, Pearl was arrested for assaulting and raping a minor girl (17). The DCP of Zone 2, Mira Bhayander Vasai Vihar, Mr Sanjay Patil said,” The incident was old but the 17-years-old victim complained today and came with her mother at the police station and then, the case has been registered at the behest of the minor girl under the Section of IPC 376 for raping a minor and The Protection Of Children From Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) Act, 2012.
Pearl arrested on Friday and has taken to the remand of police custody by the court of Vasai, Said Patil. Later, he refused to say anything about this case because the case has gone under the POCSO Act. While the case went viral on social media, the wife of Pearl and Co-star of Naagin 3, Anita Hassanandani took the support of her husband and shared a message on social media through her account. She said that by sharing a picture of her and Pear and wrote,” Some of the nonsensical news about @pearlvpuri I know him very well and It’s not true and Can’t be true.. everything lies. I know that there is something more. Now, the truth will come out soon. Love You, Pearl V Puri”. Along with this, the actress also shared a hashtag #ISTANDWITHPEARL.
Pearl V Puri has a separate fan base among serial watchers and has already appeared in many TV serials like Naagin 3, Bepanah Pyaar, and Nagarjuna Ek Yoddha. While the actor got his fame from Naagin 3 and then, he has become a part of many TV serials. At the last, he was seen as Angad Mehra in Brahmarakshas 2.
Pearl was arrested on the night of June 4, 2021, in Vasai. The rape and molestation case was filed by a minor girl and her family members. The minor girl claimed that Pearl took sexual favours from a minor girl by promising her to make her career in TV serials. Currently, the actor has taken to police custody.
