One of the prominent and versatile Cricketers of Pakistan, “Babar Azam” is all set to tie the knot next year. As per the reports, he is engaged to one of his cousin and is planning to get married at the beginning of the next year. It has been said that the family of the cricketer and the family of his cousin have given consent on their marriage and therefore, they will be marrying soon in a very close ceremony at the beginning or by the mid of 2022. At present, the cricketer is the captain of the Pakistani Cricket team for all the format including ODI, T20I and Test format.
The news of the cricketer getting married has surely excited his fans and also his fellow team players. The news of the cricketer getting married on the internet surfaced when the former Captain of Pakistan in the Test format, Azhar Ali did a Q&A session with his fans over his Twitter handle. One of his fans asked Ali whether he wants to give any kind of advice or tips to the present captain. To which Ali replied, “get married”.

At present, the cricketer is in Abu Dhabi for the Pakistani Super League and is representing Karachi Kings in this league. PSL commenced on 4th March 2021, however, due to the Wuhan Virus Pandemic, the league was halted in the mid-way. Thus, out of the 34 matches, the remaining matches will begin from June 2021, however, the schedule and the fixture of the same is yet to announced.
It has been said that the girl that Azam is engaged to be is a very close cousin of him and the families of both have agreed on this marriage and it has been reported that before heading for Abu Dhabi, the cricketer already got engaged to his close cousin. Also, it has been said that all the players in the Pakistani cricket team knew about Azam’s engagement. Currently, the cricketer is focussing on the PSL league that is soon commencing from June 2021.
