Also, the day always falls on Tuesday and Revathi Nakshatra, although, its importance rises if it is perceived through the time of Kumbh Mela.

The believers commemorate the celebration with grand enthusiasm and determination and on this day, the devotees chanting prayers in front of god with full dedication for fulfilling their wish. It is a myth that on this day the devotees have to wear black or blue coloured clothes and after that, the devotees give ‘Panchamrita Abhishek’ to the statue of Devi Bhadrakali by pouring milk, water, sugar, ghee and honey. Then, we have to dress up the statue by applying solah Sringaar and then on the statue the devotees have to pour the coconut water and then applying Chandan Puja and Bilva Puja. After that, in the mid of the day, devotee pray and chant Mantras to solicit favours from the Devi.
