Border Security Force (BSF) had earlier announced a notification inviting application for Recruitment to total of 1763 posts of Constable (Tradesman) for several different trades. The Process of Application Submission is held up to the date 3rd March 2019.

BSF Constable Tradesman 2019: Selection Process
The selection procedure of BSF Constable Tradesman comprises of various steps and those steps are as follows:
(i) Physical Standard Test (PST)
(ii) Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
(iii) Documentation (Original Documents will be checked)
(iv) Trade Test
(v) Written Test
(iv) Medical Examination
Exam Pattern: The Exam Pattern
The Exam Pattern for BSF Constable Tradesman is as follows:
There is going to be a Physical Exam at first which will be conducted for all the above posts.
PST is going to include and comprise height as well as chest measurement.
In PET there is going to be race scheduled.
In the written examination the test is going to be held on OMR basis. The time duration for the examination will be 2 hours (120 minutes). The set of questions will be in both Hindi and English. All the candidates will get the choice to answer either in Hindi or English. The written examination comprises of total of 100 Marks/ Questions. Every single part will be of 25 Marks/ Questions.
Cut off marks for written examination is as follows:
- 35% for General and Ex-Servicemen
- 33% for SC/ST/OBC candidate
BSF Constable Tradesman 2019 Call Letter
All the Candidates who are going to appear in the examination and are eagerly waiting for their exam and admit card to get released can check it within few days as soon as BSF will release the Exam date of Constable Tradesman on their official website.
As soon as the admit card will get released, candidates must take note that they should download and take a print out of it as entry without admit card is strictly prohibited and no one candidates will be allowed to give the exam without having it.
Note: Candidates must take note that as per to the recent notification the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for the post of Constable (Tradesman) is going to be held first. The Date as well as Venue of PST/ PET is going to be released soon on the Official website of BSF. Therefore, candidates are advised to visit the official website on regular basis in order to check any further information and updates regarding the examination.
