Check! Rs 200 Note’s Salient Features: Electrotype Watermarks!

Well, The Reserve Bank of India issued a notification about most awaited series of 200Rs Notes. As per the reports, the Notes are going to be published today and sources are saying that these notes have some good benefits and you all are going to love it. RBI issued a notification and in that, they said that they are going to publish which banknote will be 66 mm × 146 mm and will comprise of a number of features. Also, the sources are saying that this note will hit the market from tomorrow.

As per the reports Rs 200 denomination banknotes in Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series will bear the signature of Dr Urjit R. Patel, Governor, Reserve Bank of India from select RBI offices, and some banks.  Also, the salient features of the new denomination include Motif of Sanchi Stupa on the reverse and 200 electrotype watermarks among the others. Also, in the backwards side, you are going to see various designs, geometric patterns aligning with the overall colour scheme, both at the obverse and reverse.  Also, The RBI said that the height of the note would be the same as the new Rs 500 notes that were issued post demonetization. Also, they added that the width will be much less. “Dimension of the banknote will be 66 mm x 146 mm,” the RBI said.

Intaglio or raised printing of Mahatma Gandhi portrait, Ashoka Pillar emblem, raised Identification Mark H with micro-text Rs 200, four angular bleed lines with two circles in between the lines both on the right and left sides.
