Pakistan and China have now come into a secret three-year agreement for expanding the potential bio-warfare capabilities as a part of a comprehensive offensive against India and Western rivals. The agreement has been including many research projects that are related to the deadly agent anthrax, as per to the Klaxon report quoting multiple intelligence sources.
In recent months, China has been criticized and also allegedly held responsible for the coronavirus pandemic. It is because of the speculations that have emerged a lot lately that that disease might have come from the Wuhan Institute of Virology and many experts have discounted the theory as well.
As per to the report authored by Anthony Klan, the same lab has contracted the secret agreement with the Defence Science and Technology Organization (DESTO) of the Pakistan military. This is said to be done in order to join forces for the research in “emerging transmittable diseases” along with attaining advanced studies on the biological control of transmitted diseases.
According to the intelligence sources, they have serious concerns regarding this secret project which includes China testing biological agents outside its borders for minimizing the threat of drawing censure from the international community.
China has been already alleged for not sharing crucial details regarding the deadly coronavirus at the initial stages of its outbreak in China. If they would have been fully truthful regarding this deadly virus from the beginning itself, then the pandemic should have been tackled more effectively.
The report further says that the secret project was apart from the observation of civilian universities or the government health departments in Pakistan as well as it was organized so as to let unspecified operations.
As per to a source regarding the agreement, it undoubtedly outlines that the collaboration is not unavoidably limited to specified purposes and some either party will be adding new thematic research for monitoring the potential of the new diseases.
A security expert told The Klaxon that the involvement of China in the project is being watched by India along with some major western intelligence agencies as China’s focused chiefly by its agenda to employ Pakistan against India and conduct potentially hazardous experiments on far-off soil, deprived of exposing its own land and people to risk.
As per to the recent reports, Pakistan is allegedly carrying out the tests on CCHFV already in the research laboratory which are not well-equipped for handling Bio-Safety Level-4 diseases.
According to the report, the plan was a part of a move by Beijing for entitling Pakistan a destination for dangerous bio chemical research an on the other hand eluding the use of its own terrain for conducting such activities. This gives rise in the speculations of risk of drawing criticism as well as disapproval from the international community.
