Candidates who want to take admission in the top B-schools across India must tight their seatbelts. As the National Testing Agency (NTA) is soon going to release the admit card for the CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) Exam 2021, soon on their official website “cmat.nta.nic.in” on 24th March 2021. The exam shall be conducted on 31st March 2021. Those who want to do a Master’s degree in business administration must know about the CMAT exams. CMAT exams are conducted every year by NTA. It is a national-level computer-based online examination. CMAT scores are accepted by many reputed colleges all over India. Every year, around 1.5 lakh students register in the CMAT examination in order to get admission to their dream business school. In India, apart from the CMAT test, there are also other entrance exams for management courses including CAT, XAT and MAT, and many others.

The exam date of CMAT 2021, was earlier scheduled to be conducted on 22 Feb 2021, but later it was postponed due to changes in the examination pattern of the test and is now rescheduled for 31st March 2021 in two different shifts. CMAT Exam 2021: New Exam Pattern

There will be a total of 5 sections.

  • Section 1: Quantitative Technique and DI
  • Section 2: Logical Reasoning
  • Section 3: Language Comprehension
  • Section 4: General Awareness
  • Section 5: Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Optional)

Section 1 to 4 is mandatory. Each section will contain 25 question and 100 marks each. Candidate has the choice to either stick to the 4 sections or they can opt for the additional section too, along with the 4 sections. For the additional section, the candidate will get an extra 30 minutes. The additional section will also contain 25 questions with a maximum mark of 100. The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours plus 30 minutes extra for the optional section.

CMAT Exam 2021: Exam Date & Timings/Shift

As mentioned earlier, the exam will be conducted on 31st March 2021 in two shifts.

  • 1st Shift: 9:00 AM to 12/12:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 AM to 6/6:30 PM

CMAT Exam 2021: Procedure for downloading the Admit Card

  • Go to the official website of NTA, which is, “cmat.nta.nic.in” and ” www.nta.ac.in”
  • Click on the link “CMAT 2021 Admit car download”.
  • You will be taken to a new page. There you have to enter your login id as well as password.
  • Your Admit Card for CMAT 2021 exam will appear on the screen.
  • The candidate has to download the Admit Card.

It is mandatory to carry admit card at the exam centre along with a self-declaration form that can be downloaded from the official website of NTA.
