Delhi job portal is “receiving a good response”, 3.2 lakh applicants registered: Arvind Kejriwal

After launching the job portal on Monday by Delhi government, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday stated that the  Job portal is getting a good response. This online portal has been created in order to revive the economy of Delhi and for this, the government has asked several traders and industrialists to join with them through this job portal.

In addition to that, Kejriwal today expressed his assurance regarding this portal after announcing that there have been about 3.22 lakh job-seekers who have registered so far in this job portal after they have launched it on Monday.

He said that within a few days after the launch of the job portal, it is “receiving a good response” and with the help of this they can let many people get employed among these pandemic crises. Kejriwal also said that there are around 7,577 companies that have been registered as of now, and have advertised a total of 2,04,785 jobs out of which a total of 3,22,865 people have applied for the jobs.

For the job seekers, the portal is served as the “Rozgar Bazar” platform for which they don’t even need to pay a single penny as it is free for registration.   • After that, a login page will open where you have to enter your mobile number.
  • You will get some options to select which will categorize your job need. However, it is up to you whether you want to apply for one job or more in this portal.
  • This platform will directly connect you to the employers through phone or their WhatsApp from where you can contact them.

At the time of launching the job portal on Monday, Kejriwal said that Delhi has successfully managed to bring the COVID-19 “under control” and like other states, Delhi didn’t go back to the lockdown. Now, the migrants who left Delhi at the lockdown period in the country are now returning back in search of new jobs and many people have already lost their job due to on-going pandemic. In order to help them out, there are many traders, businessmen, and contractors who are offering new jobs but doesn’t have a right platform to spread their reach, therefore, Delhi Government has come up with this job portal which is going to help such people who are in search of a job.
