The crash happened and occurred at around 4:56 PM near Highway 39 and East Fork Road as the LASD Air Rescue 5 helicopter was responding to the call of a car crash on Highway 39 and the crew collided before reaching the car collision patient and the car was later hauled off the hill. The helicopter, which is usually used for recovery operations, dismounted just a few feet from a 200-foot drop and the information of the accident is shared on Saturday by LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva.
