A piece of very sad news is coming from Dharwar City, Karnataka that a minimum of 11 people died in a road accident and over 6 people were injured. The incident happened around 8:00 AM between a minibus and a truck near Itigatti village in Karnataka’s Dharwad on Friday morning. After the incident, those 5 people are seriously injured, rushed towards the near hospital.

As per the reports, the truck was travelling from Davanagere to Belagavi while the temp traveller was going for a trip to Goa. According to the police reports, the injured people have been shifted to the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences for treatment.
11 dead bodies were recovered from the minibus said Police. As per the details of injured people, the driver of the minibus and 10 women have died in the accident. Police said, some other people, who were injured are sent to the nearest hospital and 5 injured people are suffering from a critical condition in the hospital. Police added in their statement that a total of 17 passengers was travelling in the minibus and a few are survived the incident.
News agency ANI reported,” Seven people, who were injured in a collision between a minibus and a tipper in Dharwad, admitted to two different hospitals”. Also, it is quoted by news agency PTI,” Eleven people, including nine women, were killed in a road accident near Itigatti village in the district. Most of them hailed from Davanagree district”.
Also, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted,” Saddened by the loss of lives due to a road accident in Karnataka’s Dharwad district. In this sad hour, my thoughts are with the bereaved families. I pray for a quick recovery of those injured: PM @narendramodi”.
PM Narendra Modi showed his sadness about this accident through his tweet. Family members of the injured and dead people are in shock after hearing this unexpected news. There were dead women more than men in the accident so, it is more painful for their family members and children to tolerate this.
