Dr Jyotsna Suri recently was the Guest of Honour at the Special Olympics Bharat where her organisation company “The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group” was also the Happiness Partner.
On the 7th of April as a part of the National Health Fest for Divyangjan (people with disabilities), the Special Olympics Bharat was held across India. The national health festival screened over 75,000 athletes spread over 75 cities across the country. The event also had 7500 medical professionals in attendance. The Special Olympics is a global movement that offers sports training and athletic competitions to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The partnership offered people with disabilities the chance to participate in sports activities that they may not otherwise have had the opportunity to take part in. In addition, the partnership had provided people with disabilities access to healthcare services that they may not otherwise have had the opportunity to receive.
As the Guest of Honour, Dr. Jyotsna Suri, presided over the event. She said that The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group was honoured to be associated with Special Olympics Bharat. Dr Suri is a strong supporter of Special Olympics Bharat and she is a strong believer that every person deserves the opportunity to lead a healthy and active life.
