It has been confirmed that the teaser of the movie ‘Sarkar’ would be released on the eve of Dussehra at 6 PM. ‘Sarkar’ is the most awaited Kollywod movie of ’Joseph Vijay’ who is also known as Thalapathy (Commander) by the media.

The production of the movie was started in January 2018, first and second schedule was shoot in India which they successfully completed in time and in the first week of August they started shooting their third schedule in the US. The movie was wrapped up on 5th September 2018; further production work is still in progress.
The movie is going to be released on 6 November on the occasion of Diwali. Soundtracks are given by the Grammy Award winner “A.R Rahman” and lyricist Vivek.
The full album was released on 2nd October 2018 which crossed more than seventy five million views on YouTube in just few days of its release thus making it one of the most popular and trending tracks ever produced by A.R Rahman.
Previously when the movie title was not revealed by the movie production team it was reffered as Thalapathy 62 which means 62nd movie of Vijay (known as Talapathy by the media), as it was 62nd film starring Vijay.
