One of the beloved Anime series of Japan “Assassination Classroom Season 2” ended on a good note and made every one of us cry with its emotional ending and heartwrenching touching scenes. We do not have enough words to tell you all how astonishing and marvellous the ending was and how beautifully the creators gave equal importance to each individual character alongside the main character, Koro-sensei and finished the same on an extremely strong note that one cannot help but rewatch one more time. The genre of this series is science fiction comedy and action and is initially based on a manga series with the same name, illustrated and written by Yusei Matsui.
The manga was adapted for anime by Lerche that aired on the original network of Fuji TV on 9th January 2015 and was directed under the direction of Seiji Kishi and was written by Japanese anime screenwriter, Makoto Uezu. The series was produced by Noriko Ozaki and has been licensed for the English language by Viz Media, Funimation, and Madman Entertainment. Meanwhile, Japanese music composer, Naoki Sato who is known for his work in the Sword of the Stranger, Eureka Seven and Pretty Cure Series X has given music in this anime series.
Assassination Classroom Season 2 Ending Explained
The second season of Assassination Classroom contained a total of 25 episodes, the last being the final episode. The plot of the series revolves around the life of an incredibly strong creature, who is an octopus-like being, named, Koro-sensei. He destroys 70% of the moon and is currently on earth, claiming that if he would not be murdered, he will wreck the earth next, however, he gives the human being a chance to turn this fate. He works as a junior high teacher and teaches the class3-E students various regular subjects as well as numerous ways of assassination.
The government of Japan also promises a reward of $100 million US dollars to students who would kill the creature. With the passing time, the class3-E students who were regarded as trash and useless in the Kunugigiaoka Junior high School started to show great improvement in their grades, specific skills and possibilities for the future under the teaching of Koro-sensei. With the passing time, students learned about their teacher secrets, the hidden mystery being the Moon’s destruction and why they must kill Koro before the end of the school year.
All the viewers who have been watching this anime were aware of the fact that this day will come, however, when it actually came in the finale episode of “Assassination Classroom Season 2” it surely pierced everyone’s heart. After battling with The Reaper and Yanagisawa, Koro Sensei became weak and was held by his beloved students Karasuma and Irina. The rest of the students, including Nagisa, came to the conclusion that it was time to assassinate their teacher. The scene was quite emotional as we saw how Nagisa reluctantly picks the knife and blow at the heart of Koro. Koro bids goodbye to the world, while all students mourn over his passing.
