On the occasion of his 45th birthday, Vijay Antony, the Indian actor, singer, lyricist and music composer took over his Twitter account, making an announcement that he will be directing the sequel version of the superhit Telugu film, “Bichagadu”. Talking about the movie, then, this movie is the Telugu dubbed version of the Tamil film, “Pichaikkaaran” that was released in the theatres on 4th March 2016 and garnered a massive response from the fans as well as from the critics. Moreover, the movie did an estimated box office collection of $425million.
Bichagadu 2 Tamil Movie Release Date
The movie, “Bichagadu 2” to be directed by national award-winning filmmaker, Priya Krishnaswamy together with Vijay Anthony and produced by Fatima Vijay Anthony under the production banner of Vijay Antony Film Corporation. Meanwhile, the principal cinematography of the first part is done by Prasanna Kumaar and edited by Veera Senthil Raj. Antony being the multi-talented guy he is, also gave music in the movie.
The plot of “Bichagadu” revolves around the character of Arul Selvakumar played by Vijay Antony, a rich entrepreneur of Palladam town in Tirupur District, Tamil Nadu. He deals in the textile business, however, the person who led the foundation of this business was his beloved mother, Bhuvaneshwari. The billionaire leads a 48-day long mysterious life as a beggar as part of a spiritual sacrifice to save his helpless sick mother.

Along with the announcement of the sequel version of the movie, the actor-director and producer also released the first poster of their movie, stating that this project is extremely close to his heart. Meanwhile, ace director, AR Murugadoss also welcomed Antony to the clan of directors, to which the actor responded saying that he hopes, he will do justice to the significant role of director. This first part of the movie was initially released in the Tamil language and later was dubbed in multiple languages including Hindi, Odia, Marathi, and Kannada by the name of Roadside Rowdy, Baby, Bhikari and Amma I Love You.
The movie did a great job in touching the heartstrings of the audience and at the same, miraculously registered some extraordinary numbers which jolted all trade thinkers as well. What impressed the audience more was the well-written storyline as well as the acting of Antony. The actor has revealed that the story of “Bichagadu 2” is written by him during the lockdown. However, as of now the neither Antony nor anyone related to the film has made any announcement regarding the release date of the movie.
