Breathe is an Indian Crime Drama series which was premiered on Amazon Video on 26th January 2018. It was the Amazon Prime Video’s second Indian original series after Inside Edge which was premiered in 2017. The series starred R. Madhavan, Amit Sadh, Hrishikesh Joshi, Sapna Pabbi, Atharva Vishwakarma, and Neena Kulkarni in the lead roles. ‘Breathe: Into The Shadow’ is a psychological crime thriller that has been created and produced by Abundantia Entertainment. The series has been directed by Mayank and written by Bhavani Iyer, Vikram Tuli, and Arshad Syed. The first season of crime drama thriller is starring an ensemble cast including R Madhavan in the role of Denzil ” Danny” Mascarenhas, Amit Sadh will be reprising his role of senior inspector Kabir Sawant, Sapna Pabbi is playing the role of Ria Ganguly, Neena Kulkarni is playing the role of Juliet Mascarenhas, Atharva Vishwakarma is playing the role of Joshua ” Josh” Mascarenhas, Hrishikesh Joshi in the role of Inspector Prakash Kamble, Shriswara in the role of Dr. Aruna Sharma, Shrikant Yadav in the role of Malwankar, Urmila Kantikar in the role of Margaret Mascarenhas, Madhura Naik in the role of Shaina, Kali Prasad Mukherjee in the role of Shankar Patil.

The story of the series revolves around a father who becomes a serial killer just to save the life of his son. It shows how a father gets involved in crime to protect his own son. A highly skilled officer of the Crime Branch (Kabir) connects the unconnected trails of murders and finds out a common suspect. Breathe Into the shadows is going to release on 10th July On Amazon Prime Video.

Danny starts dating Aruna Sharma, Josh’s divorcee doctor to get more information on how to carry out his plan to save his son. Danny finds one of the recipients higher than Josh on the list; a retired professor in the city. Danny tries to kill him by triggering his asthma. However, the man does not die and goes into a coma.
Breathe Into The Shadows Plot: How’s Different from Season 1?
Then, Danny moves on to a different target, Rahul, a registered organ donor who is a young man that works at an office building. To act on the plan, Danny hides Rahul’s helmet and crashes into his motorcycle, eventually killing him by making it look like a road accident. Danny leaves the helmet by the body. When Rahul’s helmet was found by his side, some questions are raised as he did not leave his office wearing a helmet.
Danny targets a young actress named Anita. He pretends to be an assistant director and makes Anita do an audition by acting to commit suicide. While the act, she suffocates to death. While investigating both Victim’ deaths, Kabir realizes they are both are registered organ donors. Prakash shortlists the organ donors, he finds out the serial killer’s next possible target could be Ria.
Kabir warns Ria but she does not believe him. Danny breaks into Ria’s home to kill her. Kabir and Prakash are watching her home at the gate. They see Danny leaving and try to chase him. However, Danny somehow escapes.
Breathe Season 2 Story & Spoilers
Danny realizes that he is Kabir’s prime suspect. Danny’s next target is a wealthy mid-aged man, Nair. He fools Prakash’s man by misleading them into accepting that he is spending the night at a blind school. However, he sneaks into Nair’s country club, cuts off the electricity, and drowns Nair it the swimming pool.
Nair is serious at the hospital. Kabir attacks Danny at the blind school. Later that night, Danny pushes Aruna to a nearing car that kills her when she confronts him about killing the organ donors. Danny gets caught and Josh gets treated and is healed. Josh’s surgery becomes a success and he lives.
“I don’t think any series has a finale as dynamic as Breathe.” R Madhavan said to Indian Express.
To date, there are no official teasers and trailers released of the series. The series is much anticipated and the fans are having huge expectations with season 2.
