All The Winners Of Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2020 Full list Revealed, Watch Here: Anime Award Winners of the year 2020 has been recently announced by Crunchyroll. This year’s award had a total of 19 awards. This time it had a lot of winners and that too from different categories. It was not like most of the awards were won by a single anime. It was pretty fair and during the event, there have been many other announcements as well.
Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2020 Complete Winners List
In terms of counting awards, both Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Kaguya-Sama: Love is War, both won three awards each this year. Demon Slayer took the world by storm when its anime was released and it wasn’t a surprise that it won the Anime of the Year. It also won Best boy and Best fight scenes for Tanjiro Kamado and Tanjiro & Nezuko vs. Rui respectively. On the other different side, Love is War, won Best Ending Sequence, Best Couple (Kaguya Shinomiya & Miyuki Shirogane), and Best Comedy.
There have been a lot of other animes from the different platforms like Netflix’s Carole & Tuesday won Best Score (composed by Mocky). But it is not finished here as Amazon Prime Video’s Dororo won Best Character Design, and the streaming service’s acclaimed historical fiction series Vinland Saga won Best Drama. The Promised Neverland won two awards for best Villian and Best Fantasy.
And also during the Anime Awards, Crunchyroll also announced four anime that is decided to come in 2020. One is a continuation of an existing series named That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime which returning for a second season this fall. The other three are brand-new. In April 2020, My Next Life As a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom and The 8th Son-Are You Kidding Me will be a debut. I’m a Spider, So is also coming to Crunchyroll in 2020 but the release date has not been announced yet.
To celebrate such a great year, Crunchyroll got ready for their fourth annual Anime Awards. Tabulating 11 million votes across 8 languages among the countries such as United States, Brazil, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Canada, Crunchyroll announced the winners at the Crunchyroll HQ in San Francisco during a special stream co-hosted by WWE Superstar Xavier Woods.
