“Darwin’s Game” is one the most-watched and critically acknowledged anime television series of Japan that was released on the original network of Tokyo MX, BS11, At-X and also on other networks, containing a total of 11 episodes. The last episode of the same aired on 20th March 2020, garnering an immense response from the fans as well as from the critics worldwide, however since then, the creators are enthusiastically waiting for the second part of this Anime. Darwin’s Game Season 2 Plot
Darwin’s Game is formerly based on the life of a 17-year old boy named, Kaname Sudo who was invited online by one of his friends to play an app game named, Darwin Game online, oblivious about the fact that the game involves a battle between life and death. Later Sudo realises that he is trapped in this game of endless killing and victory, and therefore he determines to get rid of the game and seek out and destroy the Game Master. In the last episode of season 1, we saw that Sudo along with Ryuji decides to kill the Eighths. Meanwhile, the anime ends with an inflamed Kaname Sudo, who starts the next game, a hunting game inside a forest.
Darwin’s Game Season 2 Voice Cast
As of now, the creators have not made any announcement regarding the voice cast of the second season of “Darwin’s Game”, however, the previous voice cast is most certainly going to give the voiceover to the existing star cast, which clearly means that Kaname Sudo, Shuka Karino, and Rein Kashmiwagi’s character will be voiced by Yusuke Kobayashi, Reina Ueda and Nichika Omon. However, we can not say the same about the English voice artist.
Darwin’s Game Season 2 Release Date
To date, the creators have not released any statement regarding the renewal of this anime for a second season, however, looking at the popularity of the Anime series, the creators are quite likely to make a sequel for the same. The manga series has a total of 23 volumes, thus, there is enough material and content for the makers to continue the anime for a second season.
