The popular Digimon Adventure is the eighth incarnation of the Digimon franchise that started airing from April 5, 2020 in Japan. This anime television series is animated by Toei Animation and it is an adaptation or reboot of the original anime series which was aired back in 1999. The anime series was initially premiered on Fuji TV after which its digital right was given to Crunchyroll. So far, 47 episodes of the Digimon Adventure have been completed successfully and now the anime fans are waiting for its 48th episode release.
Digimon Adventure Episode 48 Premiere & Preview
The anime series started airing last year in Japan on April 5, on Fuji TV, however after three episodes the upcoming episodes was put on hold due to COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country. But the anime fans didn’t have to wait long as Toei Animation made an official announcement on June 19 that the upcoming Digimon Adventure episodes will resume broadcasting. The third episode was aired on April 19, 2020 and the fourth episode then aired on June 28, 2020.
Now talking about the last episode of Digimon Adventure i.e. Episode 47, it was titled “The Villains of the Wastelands” and was aired on May 9, 2021. In the last episode we saw Taichi was tasked along with Agumon in order to rescue Joe and Gomamon. They have to now protect them from a pair of Dinosaur-type Digimon that are combating against each other over water. Now, the next episode will be titled as”The Attack of Mugendramon” and it is directed by Hideki Hiroshima as well as written by Masashi Sogo.

The upcoming episode is titled “The Attack of Mugendramon” and is all set to air on May 16, 2021 (Sunday). The original network of this anime television series is Fuji TV where this upcoming episode of Digimon Adventure is going to air on Sunday. As far as the release time of Digimon Adventure Episode 48 is concerned, the upcoming episode will air at 9:00 AM, as per to JST. The timings may differ as per to different time zone as well as the location outside Japan.
