Guru is a Telugu sports drama movie which is produced by S. Shashikanth on Y NOT Studios banner and directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad. This flick is Starring Venkatesh, Ritika Singh in the main lead roles and music composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The film is a remake of Tamil Movie Irudhi Suttru (2016).

Well, this flick has a good buzz in between people because of the great story plot. Also, the Tamil version is quite hit at box office and makers are expecting the same kind of reactions from the Telugu box office too. Well, we are sure that this movie is going to collect good bucks for the makers.

Story based on-

A professional boxer, Adi, aspires to win a gold medal for India in an international boxing championship. However, he falls prey to the existing politics in the boxing association, losing an important match to an undeserving opponent, who uses malpractices to win the match. Disheartened, he quits boxing only to return to the boxing ring as a coach to an aggressive fisher-woman Rameshwari, who accomplishes his dream of winning the gold medal for the country.
