The word “Excitement” won’t be enough to justify the obsession and craziness that the Korean drama fans are currently feeling and why would not they be, soon the much-anticipated K-drama television series, “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” is making its way for the viewers on the original network of tvN. Also, the global audience will be able to get access to the same, as the upcoming Korean TV series will also be available for streaming online on the famous Over the Top platform. Hometown Cha-cha-cha is known by many other names including Seaside Village Cha-Cha-Cha, Seashore village Cha-cha-cha and Fishing Village Cha-Cha-Cha.
The genre of this newly released Korean drama series, “Hometown Cha-cha-cha” is a romantic comedy and is in fact a remake of the hit South Korean movie, “Mr Handy, Mr Hong” that was released in 2004 and was written by Kang Seok-beom and Shin Jung-goo. Coming back to the upcoming K-drama tv series, this television series is written by Shin Ha-eun and is directed under the direction of Yoo Je-Won. Moreover, the series is produced by Lee Dong-gyu along with executive producer, Jo Moon-ju under the production banner of Studio Dragon and GT:st.
Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha TV Series Plot
The story of “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” is about a beautiful brewing romance of a pragmatic dentist Yoon Hye-jin and her neighbourhood handyman Hong Du-sik and is set in the seaside of Gongjin village. Yoon was offered to work as a dentist in a calm seaside town. She accepts the offer and vow to put her medical degree to practice with dignity and integrity.
In Gongjn, she meets Hong Du-sik who is known as Mr Hong around the village and also happens to be her next-door neighbour. Although Hong is officially unemployed, he is busy offering a helping hand to anyone in need, even if he will be paid less or nothing. What will happen when these two polar apart individuals will find themselves getting attached and eventually falling in love with each.
Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha TV Series Cast
Shin-Min-a will be portraying the role of Yoon Hye-jin, while Kim Seon-ho will be playing the role of Hong Du-sik. The series will also feature Lee Sang-yi in the role of Ji Seong-hyun. Apart from these casts, the series also stars other actors in supporting roles.
Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha Release Date & Streaming Platform
The much-awaited Korean TV Series, “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” is premiering on 28th August 2021, Saturday on the original network of TvN and thereafter will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 PM (KST) for the audience.
