The story of this series revolves around the character of Azusa Aizawa voiced by Aoi Yuki. Azusa’s life was just basic and normal and nothing fancy. It would be an understatement to say that she was a workaholic and because of working day and night, she died at the young age of 27. Anyone in her place would have died if they put themselves into so much work and spare no life for entertainment. Maybe fate had some other plans for Azusa.
When the next day Azusa woke up, she found herself in a fantasy world in the body of an immortal young witch of 17 years. Azusa was glad that she got the opportunity to live her life again and this time she made up her mind that no matter what she would live her life to the fullest and will live her life peacefully. In order to earn money, Azusa decides to kill slimes that are creating troubles for the villagers.
It was a piece of cake for Azusa to turn the slims into magical stones. After killing those slims she would sell them in a shop in exchange for money. This became her daily routine and she did this for 300 years. Thereafter, she became a powerful witch of level 99. Level 99 witch means that she is now the owner of immense power. However, after becoming the Witch of the Highlands, Azusa’s life took a major turn.
